Brief Description of Electronic and Electrical Engineering
Electronic and Electrical Engineering, includes areas such as telecommunications, computer engineering and microelectronics. These are huge and diverse fields, with opportunities for all. You are likely to get most enjoyment out of a career in these areas if you have some of the following qualities:

A logical mind  Are you good at solving problems? Can you break a complex problem into smaller parts?

A creative mind  If you enjoy bringing your own ideas to bear on problems, instead of always following a set of steps laid down by somebody else, then this might be the area for you.

An aptitude for Maths If Maths is one of your favourite subjects, this area is one where you can use your mathematical ability as the foundation for an enjoyable and enormously rewarding career.

Teamwork and communication skills As an electronic or electrical engineer you are constantly sharing ideas with creative and dynamic colleagues.
